Organic Sunflower Oil

The big, beautiful, and bright sunflower is easily one of the most identifiable and gorgeous flowers. The seeds of this plant, with a dash of salt, are also probably among the most delicious. The sunflower is one of the few plants that was actually grown and originated in the United States and was harvested by Native Americans way before the Christopher Columbus arrived. Fast forward a while and Russia became a huge fan of the plant and harvested it’s oil for culinary uses all across Europe.

It’s beautiful, it’s great in the kitchen, but how can you enhance our skin and body?

Organic Sunflower oil as an emollient

When you first have your baby, their skin is super sensitive and loses moisture much quicker than an adults skin. Sunflower oil is an excellent emollient that helps to create a barrier between the moisture in you and your baby’s skin and the dry air. For more mature skin, as in over 3 years old, sunflower oil products can create the same moisture protection barrier to protect your skin especially in the super drying winter months.

Organic Sunflower oil for your hair

There is nothing like a head full of shiny, soft, and luscious locks. Hair that is properly moisturized and healthy is easier to take care of and detangle. When your hair is dry and brittle, the strand begin to snap like pieces of hay under the slightest pressure. Applying sunflower oil can help with the lubrication of the hair shaft which will protect against extra breakage as well as adding a nice dose of shine and softness.

Organic Sunflower oil after shaving

When you are insanely busy and don’t have enough time to make up your face and perfect your hair, the best thing is squeezing in 2 minutes to shave your legs. Something about baby smooth legs that puts an extra pep in your step. Or maybe that 5 o’clock shadow is getting a little thick and you are ready for a close, smooth shave. Which ever it is, lather on sunflower oil infused products afterwards to prevent that super annoying irritation that can make your skin feel like they are on fire.

Organic Sunflower oil can be easily used in your hair and on your skin without clogging your pores and leaving a greasy residue. It quickly absorbs, creates a barrier so that the moisture is locked in instead of releasing into the air.
